Commissioned for a country kitchen in a 500 year old house. Just the fittings left to do - hinges etc.

Made in Redwood and pine. Finished with natural wax. The main carcass has fielded panels to the side with draw bore mortice and tenon joints. Doors have draw bore bridle joints. The panels are detailed to look like tongue and groove to match the existing cupboards.

Hand profiled top. To the left is the through tenon with teak wedges. This is the main fixing point.

The top was shaped using traditional wooden moulding planes. As with the other pieces, all joinery was made with hand tools using traditional methods.
